Swimming has started again for the Spring Term - please note there will be no swimming lesson the week of the half-term. Swimming is open to all children from Senior Infants upwards and takes place each Wednesday at 2.45 - 3.30pm in Leisureland. Parents can pick up children attending swimming lessons from 2.20pm on Wednesdays to make sure they get there on time. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Due to the flooding over Christmas, Leisureland will remain closed until at least May. Therefore we will be refunding the deposits taken for this term's swimming. Please watch out for a note home in school bags regarding this. We're hoping to refund the money this week.
Swimming takes place in Leisureland on Wednesdays from 2.45pm - 3.30pm. Parents are asked to pick up their children from school at 2.20pm on the day to facilitate being in the pool on time. Swimming is available from Senior Infants to 6th Class and parents/guardians are asked to remain on the premises while their children are in the pool.
Leisureland is still closed and will probably remain so for sometime. As a result swimming will be postponed until it re-opens. Although we have considered other venues Leisureland is still thought to be our best option due to plentiful, free parking and exclusivity of the pool. If you have any questions please ask a member of the committee.
