We would like to say a huge thank you to Xperimental who came to visit us during Science Week and put on a fantastic show! We really enjoyed learning all about the gases and materials that were used for the experiments. Some lucky volunteers got a chance to take part in the show. Take a look at the pictures below to get a taste of what we got to see on the day!
We have been studying plants in 6th class recently and we did our own experiment to observe how water is transported through a plant. We used food colouring, celery, water and a clear plastic cup for our experiment. The food colouring and water was absorbed by the plant and each day we watched how it slowly travelled up through the stem with the food colouring. Can you notice the movement by looking through the pictures?
