Today in room 10 we had a science fair, where each group researched, planned and carried out their own experiment. They explained their investigation on a poster, brought in their materials, carried out the experiment and presented it to the classes in the school.
We had such fun! We saw Gallium changing from a solid metal to a liquid by melting it, we tested out the speed of different balls falling through gravity, how to prevent an egg from breaking when dropping it, how coke can clean coins, what elements are needed for fire and what happens when one is removed, importance of light for sight, investigated friction, stickiness of water, refraction of light and how a nail becomes rusty.
