Today we made our own pancake batter in Room 10. We began by reading our recipe and doubling the original ingredients to save ourselves a little time! In groups we worked together weighing out the ingredients, sifting the flour, beating the eggs and stirring the mixture until it had a creamy, smooth texture. Teacher put a little oil on the pan and cooked the pancakes making sure the temperature of the hob wasn't too high or low. We then put our own toppings on our pancakes and ate them up...chocolate faces all round!!
