Kindness Week in 6th Class

We spent a lot of time the last few weeks discussing the importance of kindness and looking out for others. We have become very aware of the importance of including everyone and never being a bystander in any situation. We did some nice art work, had a "special secret friend" each day, a "Describe Me" activity, kept a special eye out for people on the yard and made a big effort to speak to or acknowledge everyone each day. Our motto of the week was "All Equal, All Different" and we celebrated our individuality in a welcome environment!
