A tangram is a traditional Chinese puzzle made of a square divided into seven pieces (one parallelogram, one square and five triangles) which can be arranged into particular designs. Firstly we attempted to create some quadrilaterals using the seven tans. We then tried to arrange the seven tans to form a range of designs including houses and swans. Can you identify the designs we created using the tans in the pictures below?
