A few weeks ago in 5th class, when we were learning about heat, we made our own ovens out of pizza boxes and shoe boxes. We had to wait for a sunny day for it to work and reach a high temperature so this week was perfect! We put chocolate in our "ovens" and left it outside in the sun. The sun reflected off the tin foil and through the cling film, hitting off the black card to trap and absorb the heat, resulting in a hot oven! Our chocolate melted in no time and we certainly enjoyed the results!!
