Engineering Week in Mr McDonagh's 4th Class

Here we are catching a rocket we made using pneumatics (presurising gas/air) by mixing coke and and an efferescent (Vitamin C tablet) to create a fizzy gas in an airtight cylinder generating a force. We learned loads more about pneumatics on our trip to NUIG's Engineering Building yesterday. We also proved Isaac Newton's first law - for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.
