Cell Explorers in Room 10!

This week we were fortunate enough to have a visit from the NUIG Cell Explorers team!
We  became real scientists when we donned our lab coats and took part in some really cool activities!   We extracted DNA from  bananas using some very cool equipment  and then we built our very own double helix.
It was a fantastic workshop and it's safe to say that the future of science in Galway looks very bright indeed!
