Camán for the Craic is on this weekend in Pearse Stadium and to welcome the teams, children in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes designed hurleys for the different countries taking part in the festival. We submitted some really good designs and we were delighted to hear that four children in our school were picked as prize winners. Congratulations to Alison Walsh who designed the hurl for Europe (non Irish), Luke Flynn who designed the hurl for The Barley House Wolves, Olga Michon who designed the hurl for Milwauke and Natalija Savic who designed the hurl for Canada. Our four prizewinners will go to Pearse Stadium on Saturday to present the hurl they designed to each of their teams. As part of their prize they will receive a replica of the hurl they made along with a goody bag. Well done Alison, Luke, Olga and Natalija.
