We had great fun performing our Christmas play, doing related art work and winter posters.
We made gingerbread biscuits and they were delicious!
We thoroughly enjoyed decorating and assembling our boxes and filling them with the gift of love for our families. These were inspired by a poem called The Present. We hope you enjoyed receiving them!
Wow what a fantastic performance from all the boys and girls in 4th class,We loved taking part in Lights Camel Action.Happy Christmas everyone.
Children in 5th class made lovely Christmas Trees with their parents :) Happy Christmas from everyone in Mr McDonagh's class.
This year our performance was all about Christmas from a 3rd Class pupil's perspective! We talked about Christmas around the world in our native countries and also other different religious celebrations such as Eid and New Year in Korea. We talked about what Christmas was like for our Granny and Grandads long ago and also what Christmas means to us personally as we all celebrate it differently. We performed some tradition seasonal songs and recited poetry we composed. We also told a few jokes! We hope everyone enjoyed our performance. Nollaig Shona daoibh!
We learned all about houses like different types of houses such as detached, semi-detached, bungalows, apartments and terraced houses etc. We then learned about the different parts of the house. In art we all got to design our own house.
Today we performed our Christmas play in Ms. Lane's 2nd class. It was called 'A Christmas Toy Story'. We have put a lot of work into it over the past few weeks, learning our lines, learning songs and actions and getting our costumes ready. We put on an amazing performance today for our families and friends. We wish everyone a very Happy Christmas!
We have been busy getting creative in Art the past couple of weeks! We have been drawing, painting, printing and constructing. Check out our Christmas inspired art work this year!
