We had the task of making a bridge that measured 40cm long and had the ability to hold a toy car or lorry. All our bridges were very impressive, have a look at our wonderful pieces of work:

Our fifth and sixth classes enjoyed taking part in the Galway Peace Proms concert at the weekend. Here are some photos of our choir. We had great fun estimating and measuring different objects around the classroom. We used cubes, straws and lollipop sticks to measure all the different things in our room.
We have been learning about 2-D shapes and have used them to create our art. We made shape people, concentric circle flowers and 2-D shape cities.
We have been learning all about China. We made some amazing projects on China, The Chinese New Year, Pandas, Tea, Chinese Dragons, Fortune Cookies, Chinese Paper Making, The Sable, Chinese Inventions and The Great Wall of China.
