On Monday, May 14th, the pupils of 6th Class took part in a Seashore Safari on Grattan beach. We began with a species hunt where we found a variety of interesting sea creatures. These included butterfish and crabs and one group even managed to find a sea eel. We had great fun trying to catch the slippery butterfish and eel! This was followed by an art project using sea shore materials and a competition to see which group could create the tallest sand structure. We had a fantastic day and certainly learned a lot. Big thanks to Brendan from the Atlantaquaria for taking us on the safari.
