The Parents' Association AGM will take place next Wednesday 9th October at 8pm in the school. All parents or guardians of children attending the school are deemed members of the Parents' Association and are invited to attend. Those in attendance will elect a committee who will have the responsibility for managing the activities of the association for the coming year. Attendance does not mean you have to join the committee.
The association will be looking for volunteers that may be able to help out with the library, garden or walking bus. This especially suits parents who would like to be involved but don't want the full commitment of joining the committee.
It is hoped that each class within the school will have a representative on the committee - remember the Parents' Association is your voice in helping towards our children's education.
There will be a short talk with our principal, Mr. Carney, a report on last year's work and a financial report, followed by election to the committee. If you would like to be nominated but can't attend then please contact a member of the current committee.
