Last year the Parents' Association arranged for refreshments to be available in the hall of Scoil Croi Iosa on the Presentation Road adjacent to St. Joseph's church. It was lovely event and we would like to run it again. Similar events are run by many schools after the Holy Communion Mass and we have taken our lead from them by asking the parents of 1st and 3rd Class to help in the preparation and on the day. If you would like to help in any way, be it baking some cakes, or helping serve the tea and coffee on the day then please contact a member of the Parents Committee. This year the Holy Communion is on Saturday 14th May. All the family and friends of the children making their Communion are invited in for a 'cuppa' once the ceremony is over, as are all the children and their parents in 2nd Class who are not making their Communion but would like to join their friends on this special day. Thanks for all your help and support.

Cash for Clobber will be taking place early next term. Your 'clobber' will be collected on Thursday 14th April. The drop off day and times will be confirmed after the holidays. A note has gone home in the children's school bags. this year there will be no 'Cash for Clobber' bags handed out so we ask that you use your own refuse sacks. Thanks for all your support.
