Our school football team got through to the 2nd round of the Ribena cup on Friday and will be taking part in the second round of the competition on April 8th. Well done to all the boys involved it was like watching Brazil!

Tom the inspector for the Active School Organisation visited our School today and was very impressed with all the improvements we have made in the school. He played hurling with the fourth class children at break and we were all impressed with the way he got stuck in!
Our School Hurling team is looking forward to the Mini 7's Hurling Tournament in Moycullen next Wednesday the 26th of March at 11.00. We have been training twice weekly in preparation since last September
The Ribena Cup Schools Soccer Tournament is happening on March 28th in the Drom Soccer pitches. This year we will be entering 2 teams. All eligible boys are welcome to try out for selection this Friday from 2:30 to 3;30 on the school pitch
Our WOW Walking Buses recommenced this morning and will continue every Wednesday from today . The Walking Buses leave Bushypark Church on The Moycullen Road and The Bailey Estate on Circular Road at 8.30 am. We encourage all children to make an effort to walk to school on Wednesdays and will be monitoring the numbers and hoping to see an increase week on week. Adult volunteers are always needed and welcome and you can express your availability in the School Office.
Irish dancers did great today at Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations Brendan and Chidi check and tidy the PE Equipment room every Friday. Since we have begun to lock it between classes it has become much easier to tidy it.
Today we had over 20 children from 4th class hurling at break. We have hurling at four breaks during the week and it is great fun
