The WOW (Walk on Wednesday) walking bus is back. This is an initiative to encourage children to walk part of the way to school on a Wednesday morning. A 'bus' leaves Bushypark Church at 8.25am and The Baily at 8.30am. Jnr and Snr Infants should be accompanied by a parent or gaurdian, while older children can walk with their friends. Obviously we need a few parents to walk with the children. Flourescent vests are provided. Walk on Wednesday helps the children earn the school's Green Flag.

The Active Flag is a new initiative by the school to increase the daily activity of the children. The Parents' Association is supporting the program and has donated €1000 to the school so far to purchase new PE equipment. There is a further €500 to be spent in September.
